About Us

Welcome to FOOD and FARM Lab, a cutting-edge facility dedicated to meeting the highest standards of national and international criteria in food and water testing.

FOOD and FARM Lab has been working diligently to achieve accreditation according to the ISO 17025 standard. We are proud to be the first private accredited laboratory in the Republic of Kosovo for testing food, animal feed, and water. Our accreditation was granted by the Accreditation Institute of the Republic of North Macedonia, which is a signatory of European and global multilateral agreements, including those with the EA (European cooperation for Accreditation) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).

Our laboratory is divided into two main departments: the Department of Microbiology Analysis and the Department of Chemical Analysis of Food and Water. Both departments are staffed by highly experienced and educated professionals who are committed to providing accurate and timely results.

The recognition of our analysis results across Europe and the world offers a significant advantage to the industry in Kosovo, particularly for export-oriented companies. Our results are accepted globally, ensuring that products tested at our lab meet international standards.

In collaboration with state institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Veterinary Agency, FOOD and FARM Lab aims to enhance food safety on the Kosovo market and improve product quality. We adhere strictly to national regulations related to food safety, applying accredited ISO methods to deliver reliable analysis results.

Our future plans include expanding our laboratory capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the industry in Kosovo and to support scientific research. Additionally, we have established a Training Center dedicated to educating employees in the food industry from both the private and state sectors.
